Mission

We believe that it is God's intention for a Biblical church, native born, that can reproduce itself, be in every community in the country of Haiti, in a distance that each family is able to walk.

We are using whatever means available to get into communities, so that we can get to know the people and their needs. In the Central Plateau we are surrounded by mountains and people walk long distances trying to get water, particularly during the dry season. Water is a source of much of the illness that is seen in Haiti, particularly during the dry season. Sam works with communities to help them find underground water, usually going to a spring and putting in a water pump up above it. So far, we have found water that is much cleaner to drink and more accessible 100% of the time. The Baptists supply know how, encouragement, cement, and pumps. The communitiy provides manual labor, rock, and sand, as these are shallow hand dug wells. We ask if they are affiliated with a church and if not, if they would be interested in a Bible stories in their communities. We are Chronologically Storying the Bible with the intent to start a church planting movement. As a nurse, Delores is bringing in small medical, dental, and optometry teams from one to eight people to get into communities.
